CLINICAL VALIDATION

Currently, Dental Implants make very sophisticated prosthetical rehabilitations possible.

Indications are boosted by permanent implants innovations.

However, these innovations should not just follow a fashion tendancy, but should respect a scientific validation based on impartial and strict experimental research.

Following this rule, The DRIVE Group and the Anti-Cancer Leon Berard General Hospital Research Laboratory have signed a partnership protocole  to carry a scientific experimentation program to confirm the Drive Dental Implants performances.

This program has been carried on at the ICE (Experimental Surgery Institute) of Leon Berard hospital at the Inserm Unit 556.

Since October 2008, a comparative animal experimentation has been led on pigs  maxillaries with the DRIVE BIO-XELLENT implants and other 

After implantation, specimens were extracted at 6 months and a histomorphometric analysis of samples was made at Cermep laboratory at the Neurologic Wertheimer Hospital in Lyon (France).

 

3 significant criteria were selected to test the “implant-bone osmose” through hitomorphometry:

-Trabecular pattern form

-Surface intersection

-BV/TV

Clinical and radiologic results comparison shows a significant better performance for the DRIVE implants in its Biology and cervical Osteocaptation with the other implants.

This information letter aims to bring a testimony on the DRIVE Group, always to assure scientific experimentation and validation before bringing a new concept on the market and epitomize Drive Implants conceivers priority:
